Goetic magic is a form of ceremonial magic that involves either demonolatry, a consensual practice, or the summoning, binding, and commanding of these beings, to do the caster’s bidding, which is a Solomonic practice. It is a practice derived from the Ars Goetia, the first book of The Lesser Key of Solomon, and is characterized by precise rituals, specific tools, and a complex set of rules to control the summoned entities. Demonolatry does not involve control, but consensual contracts and or agreements. The purpose of the Goetia can be diverse, from gaining knowledge and power, and it is often considered a type of "black magic" because of its focus on evoking spirits from the infernal or lower realms. Which in my opinion is a misconception and misrepresentation.
The beings or Gods/Goddesses of the Goetic are from the Abrahamic, Syrian, and Canaanite pantheons, pre-dating Christianity, with sacred texts spanning from the 2ndcentury forward, mostly discovered in Mesopotamia and the Mediterranean archaeological excavations starting back in the 4th century.
Unlike other types of magic, Goetia is highly structured and requires the practitioner to follow strict rules and rituals precisely.
Rituals are highly specific, including the proper time (e.g., an even-numbered day during a waxing moon) and specific attire for the summoner, all detailed in the Goetia texts.
The intents can be used for a wide variety of purposes, including gaining knowledge (divination), achieving financial success, or causing harm like illness or death. And everything in between.

It’s important to remember that Goetic magic is often associated with King Solomon (enslavement practices, which are frowned upon in most spiritual practices) and has historical roots also in Hellenistic Egypt, with later developments and interpretations emerging over the centuries as listed earlier.
The Ars Goetia is the first section of the grimoire, The Lesser Key of Solomon, which details 72 demonic spirits said to have been summoned and controlled by King Solomon. The name comes from the Latin word for "art" or "method" (Ars) combined with the Greek term for "sorcery" (goēteia). The text provides rituals for summoning these demons to gain knowledge, wealth, or power, though it also stresses the dangers and deceitful nature of the spirits. But is written in metaphor with exclusions, which is why it is important that this area be studied thoroughly before involving it into your practice.
I am in the process of rolling out a Demonolatry course in our witch school, so stay tuned for that. For now though I do offer Goetic divination sessions, both in our Etsy and on our main website here, and include Goetic spellcrafted panties in our wearable talismanic charm shop section on Etsy.
What the Ars Goetia does provide clearly is a catalog of 72 demonic nobles, each with a unique seal, rank (e.g., King, Duke, Marquis), and list of powers.
The Goetics are described as being capable of both wicked acts and offering valuable knowledge or gifts.
The text's original author is unknown, and it is considered a significant work of occult history.
If you are interested in working with the Goetic or incorporating it into your practice, watch for our lessons in the witch school, but here is a list of 56 books I consider valuable resources that you may want to explore prior to jumping into this practice inclusion….
